Known as the city that never sleeps, las Vegas did not get this reputation for nothing. The gambling paradise of the world, the city is also voted as one of the most romantic cities in the world. With hundred of things to chose from everyday Las Vegas is the place to keep you busy. Tourists can stay at one of the many amazing hotels in Las Vegas and experience a once in a lifetime holiday.

1. The Martin Luther King Jr. Parade is held in January, and people from all works of life come together regardless of their colour or cultural background to participate in parade.

2. Las Vegas has its own way of welcoming the Chinese New Year. Not only the Chinese population, but the whole city participates in this wonderful festival which starts on 3rd of February and lasts for 15 days. The attractions in the festival are dragon dance, different kinds of martial art demonstrations and obviously wonderful Chinese food.

3. March is the month full of motor racing which start with National Wide Series which was previously known as Nascar Busch Grand National Series. This is one of the most awaited races in Vegas as even amateurs get a chance to participate with their modified cars.

4. In March, Sam Boyd Stadium hosts the biggest monster trucks in the world called Monster Jam World Finals. This race is done and managed in a very professional way and lots of screening takes place for selecting only few of the world’s best Monster trucks for the finals.

5. Where else can one expect a poker series in the world if not in Vegas. Best players from around the world gather in Vegas for The World Series of Poker competition in April. Though the series had a humble beginning in 1973, now it is one of the biggest events in Vegas.

6. May 5th is traditionally celebrated by the Mexican as they defeated France in 1962. But now in Vegas everyone joins in celebrating the amazing Cinco de Mayo festival with all the Mexicans traditions.

7. The International Truck Show that takes place in June is a Mecca for truck driver. Everything that one wants to know about trucks is on display under one roof. This is also one of the better places to get best deals while buy trucks or truck parts. 

8. Vegas have its own way of celebrating The American Independence Day on July 4th. On this day Las Vegas witnesses one of the best light and fire show in whole of the country.

9. Def Con X Underground is one of the largest conventions of hackers in the world. Hackers from all around the world would meet in Las Vegas in August to exchanges their experiences.

10. September is the month when the best off-road racing takes place in Las Vegas, and Best in the Desert is one of them.

11. Professional Bull Riding Championship is an annual event organized in October. This championship is all about the man verses the beast, where the man tries to sit on the bull as long as he can.

12. Motor Trend International Auto Show is held in November. Everything that one sees or reads in latest magazines can be seen real close here.

13 National Finals Rodeo is a ten day event in December and is also called World Series of Rodeos or the Super Bowl of Rodeo. It was first held in the year 1958 and since it is part of Vegas event calendar and people from around the world waits for this festival every year.

Las Vegas is situated in the north-western corner of Mojave Desert and is surrounded by arid high mountains. The average elevation of the place is 620 meters above the sea level. The area is surrounded with desert vegetation with very little wildlife. The surrounding area of the city sometimes faces torrential flash floods though the city itself is never ever affected by these. The weather is that of the typical Mojave Desert, that is subtropical arid climate.

The city however is least affected by the scarcity of water in the surrounding area thanks to amazing water resource management.
With an average of more than 310 days of bright sunshine the city is always brightly convivial, and there is no particular time to visit Las Vegas. In fact, tourists throng the city around the year and
