2013 TV SEASON PREMIERES

TV SEASON PREMIERES

Fantasy Teams Are picked. Odds are coming out and bookies are hard at work. Office pools of favorite color and favorite mascot are being picked across America. An NFL pregame show airs on the NFL Network and the Saints Vikings Game on NBC. Thursday Night . Football is back Are you ready?

Are you ready for some… Taylor Swift and Dave Matthews ? For real… This isn’t football !!! If we are opening in New Orleans lets celebrate …this is football it’s not practice. Brett Favre is actually going to play in this one …and let Brett Favre set the example for all you offseason holdouts. That you play like you practice and if you expect to come into your first game against the defending Superbowl Champs after a Vacation and walk away unscathed you are wrong.

When a preseason full of holdouts, whiners, and OTA Misses: Favre and Revis, Moss, Haynesworth and Crabtree I hope the play like you practice theory comes into play for these players.

I have the utmost respect for the coaches of the Jets (Rex Ryan) and 49ers ( Mike Singletary) as they are player coaches. They love the game of football. They are transitioning their teams. “I want players , players !” Mike Singletary’s quote from his takeover last year. And now he is ok with players not participating in practice or OTA’s ?

This whole preseason has been devoted to holdouts, gripes and complaints. Did no one learn where last season left off? With Drew Brees winning the Superbowl due to “all the extra time and effort he put in off the field “

Take coach Childress and Coach Dungy for example

Childress Headlines : “Brad Childress is still complaining about the Saints defense”, “First injury report features Favre’s ankle”, “Saints delay Gregg Williams’ visit with the media”, “Percy Harvin says he’ll be “ready to play”, “Vikings announce practice squad, welcome back injured players”

Dungy Headlines: “NFL tweaks umpire positioning again”, “Anthony Gonzalez suggests he wasn’t given fair shot at starting job”, “Officials didn’t ask for the umpire to be moved” , “Tony Dungy: Illegal snap rule will hinder no-huddle offenses”

So there we have it while teams amd players practice so hard they injure themselves whilst they prepare for FOOTBALL , two coaches complain of referees and deal with player issues irrelevant to the game itself .

With the best in the World competing for the Lombardi Trophy minute issues like the aforementioned WILL have an effect on a teams outcome. Look for the Previous mentioned teams to have less than expected seasons…

Who haven’t we heard from…

AFC East: The Dolphins North: Ravens South: Titans West: Broncos
Wildcard: Chargers / Jets  (barring injuries ) The Colts are done
NFC East: Cowboys North: Packers South: Saints West: Seahawks
Wildcard: Falcons or (Redskins if they trade Haynesworth  or 49ers with another Singletary rant) No Vikings they’re done.

CSI’s seventh season finale left fans with the memory of Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) underneath an overturned red Ford Mustang in the middle of nowhere, specifically, a desert. Both the network and the cast and crew of the highly-anticipated crime-solving drama held their words on what may take place on the upcoming season. Tonight, viewers will finally get to continue on the journey that is CSI’s season 8.

CBS reports that season 8′s opener, which is entitled “Dead Doll,” will chronicle the team’s efforts on finding out about Sara’s feat with the miniature killer. Executive producer Naren Shankar promises fans that they won’t be left hanging this time around.

“Let’s just say fans will be very satisfied with how it turns out,” Shankar said in a conversation with TV Guide. “No loose ends will be left dangling at the end of the first episode.”

For those who need a recap, CSI’s previous season ender revealed Natalie Davis (Jessica Collins), the foster daughter of Ernie Dell, as the miniature killer. Prior to that, Grissom and his team believed that Ernie was the serial killer, and as they set out to arrest him, Ernie killed himself in an effort to end the pursuit and protect Natalie. Natalie, on the other hand, held Grissom responsible for her father’s death and set out to go after Sara as revenge. In addition, Grissom previously revealed
